Wandered into this place on our London adventures and wasn't disappointed.
It's a huge place with 2 levels.
They play rock/metal/industrial then it looks like they have live music pretty frequently.
We were there on a Tuesday evening, so it wasn't crazy busy. -

I wish this was my local! Visited twice on a weekend to London and loved it. Saturday night had a much bigger crowd than Sunday (duh) but the played metal on Saturday and a mix of pop punk on Sunday. Decent beers on tap for the mister and they make a good G&T (yes, a double...no judgement.) Bar staff hustled both nights. The food looked and smelled really solid but we never ate anything.
All in all...loved it. Welcoming collection of totally random people chatting and rocking out. Not full of tourists (aside from us...but we don't act like rubbish tourists anyway.) I'd go every night if I could! -

Charming place with a very mysterious yet fascinating story behind it.
As a witch myself I felt a very welcoming energy so to say ;). Red wedding cocktail was delicious! -

A burger & fries (chips) to write home about! The food: Homestyle Burger with house sauce is juicy, flavorful and served on a brioche bun. It was so damn good just on its own. It didn't need cheese or extra condiments or anything. It's a perfect size, too. Not small and not excessively large. Just right. The chips (fries) were perfectly golden and crisp.
The Look: the pub exterior is really gorgeous and inviting. It looks traditional on the outside but the inside is stunning. It's copper piping, dark wood, an iron staircase leading up to a second floor nice and near to the beautiful skylight roof. A huge train schedule type board announces it's rad cocktails like the Red Wedding, Sex in the Dungeon. Honestly it feels like a rad steampunk type spot on the inside. The beer selection is also satisfying with even their own The Worlds End microbrew. I can't wait to return.
The Drawback: the music playing in the speakers was terrible excessively loud metal. It detracted from the experience and actually was the only reason we didn't hang out longer for more pints.
I'd go back for sure but hopefully they'll have a better sound playing or at least have it lowered when I do. -

Oh, hell yes.
I had a pint here. Loved that they played metal. Cool crowd.
Bar smelled like piss, literal piss but that added some charm. I wonder if people are so crammed in at times, waiting for their beer but not wanting to lose their spot so they just piss right there.
Don't blame 'em.
If you're traveling, go here and don't be a tosser about it.
